** Not that this is important but this article actually appears on the seventh page; the pages have been misnumbered. The page numbered 7 follows the page numbered 12.
*** I am informed by an inside source that this disgustingly titled article and the (recent) photographs therein were the result of artifice. Paedophilia is a sexual attraction to prepubescent girls (and boys). Rolf Harris was no paedophile. He worked with kids for decades and no one ever pointed a finger at him until the Operation Yewtree witch-hunt. The claim that he had been convicted of sex offences against girls as young as eight is a blatant lie. The accuser in that case was Wendy Wild (Wendy Rosher), a pathetic woman who died in 2019. The conviction relating to her was quashed by the Court Of Appeal – see the article immediately above. Rolf’s youngest so-called victim claimed she had been groomed since the age of 13. In reality she had become his mistress and made no complaint until a decade and a half after the affair had finished. Again, see the above article, my obituary for Rolf.
**** This book by the Association of Swimming Therapy was published by A & C Black of London. It is the Second Edition; the First Edition had a slightly different title. As far as I can ascertain, this was Rolf’s first contribution. I took the publication date from the Amazon UK website, but it is hardly important.
***** This newspaper is the HULL Daily Mail; Rolf did not marry a scupltress from Devon; Alwen Hughes was born at Edmonton, North London, and grew up in Wales.
****** East Penge is actually Penge East – one of the stations I use. Alwen was born at Edmonton, not in Wales.
